Earlier this year, I attended the Craft & Hobby Association (CHA) Convention & Trade Show in Anaheim, California. CHA is a not-for-profit trade association consisting of member companies that participate in the design, manufacture, distribution,
and retail sales of craft and hobby products.

This show offers me an opportunity to meet with manufacturers to discuss new products that will soon be available to the consumer. I came away from the show filled with hope and inspiration, and look forward to sharing some of these new products and techniques with you as the year progresses.

In the meantime, step into spring with style and bring a fresh, new look to your decor with paint! In these trying times, painted accents can easily, effectively, and economically transform any room in your home. In no time at all, you can refinish a coffee table, chairs, and even your kitchen cabinets. Adorn your mantel with a simple stenciled clock, or brighten a porch or living room with a set of French flower buckets. In this and in future issues, we will present you with creative ways to bring style to your surroundings, both indoors and out.
